2019 marked the fourth year for house, which was run over three days 24th – 26th May, and featured 160 hand-picked exhibitors, showcasing everything from kitchens to bathrooms and lighting to original art, as well as the best-known experts from the interior design industry, with a line-up featuring Dermot Bannon, Suzie McAdam, Hugh Wallace and Amanda Hilton Sawyer, alongside Róisín Lafferty. Members of the Interiors Association also deliver Design Clinics at the event, where attendees can receive one-to-one advice from professional interior designers
Bathroom Pod Competition
SONAS invited members of the Interior Design Association to take part in a competition on the SONAS stand at house. Each designer was tasked with designing a bathroom pod, with SONAS products. The public was then invited to vote for their favourite to be in with a chance to win a consultation with the winning designer
The participating designers were Ciara Drennan, Gwen Kenny, Thelma Henry and Sinead Cassidy
SONAS was delighted with the result. 4 very different styles and use of the SONAS range were on display over the weekend which generated great interested from the public and showcased our range to a high standard.
Ciara Drennan's design was the ultimate winner.
Inspiration Stage
SONAS Bathrooms lent their expertise to the Inspiration Stage at house, where along with our brand ambassadors Katherine Kelliher and Tania Miller of Kelliher Miller Architects, and the above designers, contributed to a panel discussion on the "experts guide to the perfect bathroom".
We offered practical tips from product selection , common mistakes to avoid, design solutions to design trends.

SONAS Bathrooms were delighted to be part of an initiative involving the painting of one of our Zoe Free Standing baths in partnership with Fleetwood Paints.
John Man of johnmanspraycan art contributed his considerable talent to create a beautiful piece of art over the course of the house exhibit.
The bath takes pride of place at our SONAS Bathrooms Showroom at 103 Northwest Business Park, Ballycoolin Dublin 15.
The successful house event sees the continuation of what has been a busy first half of 2019 for SONAS Bathrooms. The company announced record sales as it completed a successful move at the end of 2018 to its new 135,000 sq. ft. high bay modern distribution centre in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.
