A question we often get asked relates to the Horizon Mirror and how to replace the digital clock in it. Although not difficult, as the saying goes "it's easy when you know how". To help I have created this simple guide with some images that should get you on your way.
Step by step guide on how to change the clock unit on the Horizon LED Clock Mirror 800 x 600
CAUTION: BEFORE BEGINNING - SWITCH OFF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY TO THE MIRROR
It's safer and easier to take down the mirror before commencing this work.
Step 1
There are 4 screws holding the metal back plate to the mirror.
Unscrew and carefully place the mirror to one side.
Step 2
Locate the led clock box.
Step 3
Un-plug the connectors.
Step 4
Remove the plastic cover of the led clock, and take out the old led clock.
Step 5
Replace the led clock, and put it in the box, then fix the clock with plastic cover well.
Step 6
Replace steel cover of the mirror.
